STEP 1

SHOWROOM MEET & GREET

Book a free, no obligation, no distractions appointment with a designer in our tranquil Bullhouse Mill studio. You can talk us through your ideas and we can explain the design process and show you how we can bring your ideas to life. We can also give you a tour of our workroom to show you the quality of the furniture & furnishings we can produce.

“Start with an idea or a fabric that you love and the rest will come easily. Let us use our flare for fabrics, colours and furnishings to create a room that you will fall in love with every day…”

STEP 2

HOME CONSULTATION

We need to discover your lifestyle and get a feel for your home. Your home visit is therefore an important step. We’ll talk things through, take measurements and photos and give you some initial advice and get an idea of your budget, objectives and design aspirations. We usually suggest to allow an hour per room. We are happy to work around you offering evening and weekend home consultations if necessary.

“Your home starts with you…It's all about your likes and dislikes and what inspires!

STEP 3

PRESENTATION OF IDEAS

If you’re happy with our initial ideas, the next stage is a one-to-one design consultation in our showroom. Depending on the design service required we will present you with samples of fabrics, fixtures, fittings and accessories, an overall room design, costings and timings. For customer wanting more inspiration we can also produce mood boards, digital floor plans and 3D visuals for an additional charge.

STEP 4

SAMPLEs, MOOD BOARDS & VISUALS

We advise all of our customers to borrow our sample books so you can see how the fabrics work in your home. We can arrange for free sample cuttings, wallpaper swatches and colour cards to be posted to you. Larger returnable samples are another great way of seeing the bigger picture for a small refundable deposit

For customers that opt for our visual design service at this point we would begin developing mood boards, floor plans and 3D rendered visuals. Your visual designs usually take 10 days to complete before we arrange the final design proposal.

“Fabrics and colours can vary dramatically in different lights… Live with the samples while we develop and fine-tune your colour scheme.”

Step 5

The interior design proposal

Next, we present you with a complete interior design proposal which sets out in detail the designs, timescales and the goods we’re supplying. Here we will present you with any mood boards and visuals and make any final tweaks that you may have to the design or budget.

Once you’ve approved the proposal, we begin sourcing all the materials, furniture and tradesmen needed to complete your design. Because we manufacture many of our products in-house and use our own professional installers we can update you frequently as the project progresses. We also encourage our customers to visit our workroom and see their goods being made – a fascinating and enjoyable occasion for you and for our hardworking team, too!

Upon approval we take 50% deposit or the full cost of the materials up front which ever is greater. The final 50% or balance is due 1 week prior to your delivery date.

STEP 6

The big reveal!

This, of course, is the most exciting part of your project: the changes you’ve dreamed about finally become reality! And of course, you can depend on our wonderful team of designers and installers to deliver your project on time and within budget. Whether you’ve simply opted for a new pair of curtains or a complete home re-design, we treat each project with the same level of service and quality.

On the big day our designers and installers will be on hand to unwrap all your furniture and furnishings, dress your room and take away all your packaging so that all you have to do is sit back, relax and enjoy your new home!
